Reform of temporary storage declarations for sea and air traffic postponed to 2022

The temporary storage declaration on goods to be cleared through Customs and which arrive from airports and harbours in the EU, Switzerland and Norway will be renewed. The aim was for the renewed declaration to be introduced in late 2021, but the introduction is postponed until spring 2022. We will later provide more detailed information on the date.

The new declaration for temporary storage will replace the current (IE344) summary declaration for temporary storage, which currently is submitted to the AREX system. At the same time, the arrival notification and presentation will be renewed.
