Publication date 9.3.2026 10.20
Type:Press release

The warehouse keeper/storage operator or the carrier must see to that the submitter of the customs declaration has knowledge of the warehouse IDs. Check the identification details of the warehouse from the notice of arrival you received from the warehouse keeper/storage operator or the carrier. If the detail is not indicated in the notice of arrival, you should request it from the operator who sent you the notice of arrival.

Warehouse IDs are used in customs declarations to indicate location and they have the format FI1234567-800101. You need a warehouse ID when you present goods arriving at a warehouse or storage facility, place goods under the customs warehousing procedure or submit declarations for import, transit, re-export and exit.
