New features in the My Details service for businesses

In the My Details service you can now update the contact information of your company, view the identifiers of your company that can be found in Customs’ register and download periodic filings. In addition, the service allows you to manage contact person information for message exchange.

The new features require Suomi.fi mandates, which have undergone changes.

More company data displayed

On the front page of the My Details service you can view all your company’s identifiers that have been saved in Customs’ customer register as part of various application and authorisation processes. Such identifiers are, for instance, the EORI number and the VAT number.

Manage contact information of company’s offices

With the new Suomi.fi mandate “Updating customer data of customs activities” you can both view and update the contact information of your company’s offices. You can still view information about the company’s offices with the mandate “Viewing of customs activity customer data”.

Please note that the head office information derived from the Business Information System (BIS) cannot be changed in the My details service. File a notification of such changes in the BIS online service of the Finnish Patent and Registration Office.

Update the message exchange contact person details

From now on, you can provide or update the name, phone number and email address of the contact person responsible for the company’s message exchange in the My details service. Save the details to your company’s head office (000) contact information.

Up-to-date information speeds up communication and makes it easier to resolve potential changes or disruptions between Customs and the message declarant.

The contact information of the person responsible for you company’s electronic message exchange can be viewed with the mandate “Viewing of customs activity customer data” or “Updating customer data of customs activities”. In order to add and modify information, you need the mandate “Updating customer data of customs activities”.

Download the periodic filings

Previously, the periodic filing was provided as an e-invoice or a paper invoice. You can now obtain the periodic filing also in Customs’ My Details service.  The service provides periodic filings separately for each office of the company for the past 12 months. 

You can download periodic filings with the mandate “Viewing of customs activity customer data” or “Updating customer data of customs activities”.
