When you lodge import and warehousing declarations in the Customs Clearance Service, you can also add attachments to the declarations in the same service. If Customs requests attachments with an additional information request, upload the requested attachments directly in your response to the request.
Message exchange customers send the declaration attachments with messages. At the earliest, you can send the attachments to a declaration when Customs has approved the declaration or the provided information. You can send the attachments to a pre-lodged declaration when you receive a notification that Customs has registered the declaration. If Customs requests attachments, reply with the message “Additional information response”, and send the requested attachments.
If you have lodged the customs declaration in the Customs Clearance Service or with a message, you can no longer use the Attachment Upload service (Liitu) to upload attachments.
In the current service Import declarations for businesses – special procedures (ITU), you can still send attachments to customs declarations in message format through the Attachment Upload service, or by email.
