Provide the code Y422 for CBAM goods in inward processing declarations

When you place CBAM goods listed in Annex I to the CBAM Regulation under the inward processing procedure (5100), provide the code Y422 under “Additional references” in the goods item details of the customs declaration.

Provide the code Y422 also in the following customs declarations that discharge inward processing:

• T1 transit: Provide the code in the goods item details under “Additional references”.
• Customs declaration for customs warehousing (7151): Provide the code in the goods item details under “Additional references”.
• New customs declaration for inward processing (5151) or customs declaration for temporary admission (5351): Provide the code Y422 in the goods item details under “Additional references”.
