Message exchange customers will start submitting their import declarations to the new customs clearance system

As of 31 May 2021, message exchange customers must submit to the new customs clearance system (UTU) their import declarations on goods to be released for free circulation.

A few companies have been given a time extension to give them time to test the new declarations with Customs. During June, both the old and the new version of the release decision for goods to be released for free circulation can be presented to the storage operator.
