Importer: If you wish to amend customs clearances submitted in the old customs clearance system (ITU), send us your amendment request as soon as possible
For three years now, it has no longer been possible to submit new declarations to the import clearance system (ITU). Customs will end the use of the system entirely on 31 December 2025. If you have customs clearances in the old system that require amendments, please send your amendment requests to Customs as soon as possible.
Processing times for applications will be longer as of 1 January 2026, as after that time we must process applications manually.
How do I apply for an amendment?
If you wish to amend an import declaration submitted to the ITU system, you should send Customs a written request for amendment. You can use a form for making your request. You can also submit a free-form request.

- Private customer: Instructions for amendment and form 1147 are available on the Correction/amendment of a customs clearance page.
