New transit declarations will be introduced on 2 September 2023. We previously announced that the customer testing of the new message declarations was to start in April, but the timetable has now been adjusted. The customer testing will start in May 2023.
The timetable will be tight and no transition periods will be granted
The timetable for customer testing will be tight, and the testing must be completed by 2 September 2023. Customs cannot grant any transition periods to companies.
We recommend that you apply for testing as soon as possible, so that your company can schedule the testing with Customs.
