Check the negation codes in your customs declaration

A new amended edition of the global HS nomenclature entered into force on 1 January 2022, which means that several of the previously used commodity codes and their additional codes have changed.

When making a customs declaration you should remember to provide the applicable negation codes. The import clearance system will not accept a declaration if required details are missing. This may cause problems especially in the case of the pre-lodged D declarations. The system will automatically invalidate the incomplete declarations.
