How to join the Accounts Register?
Register as a data provider in the Accounts Register with a free-form email to the Customs Accounts Register Project: tilirekisteri@tulli.fi.
Notify Customs of your organisation’s point of contact by email to tilirekisteri@tulli.fi for the deployment of the Accounts Register and for later contacts.
The Accounts Register is deployed together with Customs
Your organisation will draw up an agreement and timetable with Customs for the deployment of the Accounts Register. The deployment includes opening and testing of data connections before approved use of the service.
Read the guidance on deployment and maintenance of the Accounts Register and the technical interface description carefully.
As a data supplier, your organisation is responsible for its own applications, services and data connections with the data updating interface of Customs, as well as for the costs these incur, and for any third parties whose involvement may be required.
In unclear situations, further guidance and support is available by contacting Customs by email at tilirekisteri(at)tulli.fi.
Responsibility for accuracy of information in the Accounts Register
Data suppliers are responsible for making sure that the data is correct and up-to-date. Data suppliers have the obligation to prove that the information is accurate and, when necessary, updated. As the party responsible for maintaining the Accounts Register, Customs will store the information in the Register database in the received format. Data suppliers may not implement any changes that will have an effect on the Regulation issued by Customs on the Accounts Register, or that will prevent or impede the operation or functionality of the Accounts Register as defined by law or the integrity, accuracy and availability of its data content.
Disruptions and malfunctions in the data updating interfaces
The data supplier and Customs must inform other concerned parties without delay about malfunctions in their service that affect the functionality of the data updating interface. The data supplier must also inform Customs about any planned maintenance and downtime that may affect the data updating interface or the supply of data to Customs. Customs will notify data suppliers in advance of any planned downtime of the Accounts Register.
Further guidance and support is available by contacting Customs by email at tilirekisteri@tulli.fi.
Possible changes to interface specifications
Customs reserves the legal right to decide on changes. Customs will inform about changes to the interfaces in the data updating interface description of the Accounts Register and by informing the persons assigned as points of contact.
If a data supplier notices something that needs changing in the data updating interface of the Accounts Register, they can email their proposed changes to Customs at tilirekisteri(at)tulli.fi.
Changing from the Accounts Register to a data retrieval system? Notify the Customs Accounts Register Project
When they so wish, all financial operators can switch over from the Accounts Register to their own data retrieval system.
