Fees charged for Customs’ services

The Ministry of Finance has confirmed the Decree of the Ministry of Finance on the chargeability of Customs’ services (in Finnish). Customs’ services chargeable under public law and the prices of these services, are defined in the decree and the list of charges in its attachment:

• customs measures
• decisions by Finnish Customs
• services by the Customs Laboratory
• other services

Price list of Customs’ services chargeable under public law (in Finnish)

Chargeable services related to car tax and excise taxation have been transferred to the Finnish Tax Administration, and most of the services related to vehicle clearance have been discontinued as electronic services have become more common.

The commercial services of Finnish Customs are priced according to the price list attached to the decision by Customs (in Finnish).
