In the future, you will find information about upcoming changes to import declarations on Customs’ web pages about import
Changes to import declarations will continue in autumn 2022. The next electronic declarations to be introduced are, for example, the two-step customs declarations and the customs declarations for special procedures. On the web pages about import, there are examples of the code changes in customs declarations. The examples will be updated as needed. The pages also contain general information about upcoming changes.
Customs will no longer publish separate customer notices or online recordings concerning updated examples, so it is advisable to always check the up-to-date information on the web pages about import.
The changes will be published soon in English on the pages about import procedures, under the heading “Upcoming code changes”. You can already find information about upcoming code changes in Finnish on the following pages:
- inward processing declarations (customs procedure 51)
- end-use declarations (new customs procedure code 44)
- temporary admission declarations (customs procedure 53)
- simplified import declarations.
