Have your say: the Commission would like to hear your views on the draft Implementing Regulation on the CBAM transitional period - Feedback can be sent until 11 July

The European Commission has published a draft of the Implementing Regulation relating to Article 35 of the CBAM Regulation. The regulation concerns reporting obligations during the transitional period of the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism from 1 October 2023 until 31 December 2025.

The Commission is now seeking feedback from stakeholders. The Commission wishes to receive feedback on the content of the Implementing Regulation, but not on the Regulation on the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism. The draft regulation is published in English only.

Feedback can be sent until 11 July. The feedback questionnaire is accessible through this link.
