Have a look at the Customs X-ray vehicle at the Security Day in Helsinki from 24 to 25 May
Press release
The Security Day in the Helsinki region will bring together security organisations, authorities and other related operators. The event is meant for families, and offers an introduction to many types of equipment, as well as rescue shows and performances. An X-ray vehicle is on display at the Customs exhibition point.
The event at Helsinki Railway Square at the end of May offers information on overall security, and on how everyone can participate in building a safe Finland. The event is organised by the National Defence Training Association of Finland (MPK), and brings together numerous authorities and other operators from the field of security.
You are most welcome to the Customs exhibition point to meet with our experts, and to have a look at our X-ray vehicle. The X-ray unit for large-size transport units, or X-ray vehicle in familiar terms, is an effective control tool as it facilitates controls of even large trucks in a matter of minutes. At the event, you can have a look inside the vehicle. A customs dog is also present at our exhibition point.
The event will take place on the Railway Square on Friday 24 May from 10.00 to 18.00 and on Saturday 25 May from 10.00 to 15.00. Admission is free.
In addition to Customs and the National Defence Training Association of Finland, present at the event are the Defence Forces, the Border Guard, the Finnish Red Cross, Helsinki Police Department and many other operators.
