Companies need Suomi.fi identification and a mandate when submitting CBAM reports. If you are a CEO or you have signatory rights, and you yourself submit the report to the CBAM Transitional Registry, you do not need any mandates, the Suomi.fi identification is enough. If someone other than the CEO submits the report, the Suomi.fi mandate “Declaring information related to the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism” is required.
You always also need an EORI number when reporting.
