Businesses to submit import declarations electronically
Customs will renew import declarations in stages, and businesses will simultaneously start submitting them to Customs in electronic format. The declarations are submitted either in Customs’ online service or with messages.
As of 1 June 2021, standard declarations on release for free circulation cannot be submitted on SAD forms or other documents. After that date, Customs will no longer accept such declarations at its offices. If you are currently submitting standard declarations on release into free circulation on SAD forms, be sure to plan in advance if you intend to submit declarations at Customs e-Services, or if you will apply for message declarant status. You can also appoint a representative for submitting your declarations.
As of 1 June 2021, you can use SAD forms or other documens to submit only
- simplified and supplementary customs declarations
- inward processing declarations
- temporary admission declarations
- end-use declarations.
