Press release

In October, we will have several web seminars focusing on current topics in CBAM reporting.

In our web seminars that are specific to product categories, our experts will answer questions regarding changes in reporting data on emissions that will affect the reporting relating to imports of July-October (Q3/2024). Experts in the seminars will present the CBAM communication template of the European Commission.

You can send your questions to our experts prior to seminars. When you submit your questions by the due date, you will be more likely to have them answered in your seminar of choice.

The seminars will be held in Finnish with a limited number of participants. The seminars will not be recorded.

You can have a look in advance at the Commission’s English-language instructional video on the CBAM communication template.

The Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) is a new instrument of the EU for preventing carbon leakage, that is, release of emissions to regions outside the EU. For importers, this means new obligations.
