Register for the web seminar on using the Customs Clearance Service in import declarations
We are arranging a web seminar on 23 April 2024 at 10‒11.30 where we will present the use of the Customs Clearance Service in drafting and submitting import declarations.
We will cover the following topics:
- characteristics of the Customs Clearance Service
- basic settings of service users
- how to complete an import declaration using procedure 4000 (release for free circulation), and how to submit your declaration to Customs
- how to reply to a request for additional information from Customs
- where to find a completed customs clearance and the related decisions.
Do you have questions about using the Customs Clearance Service? You can send questions to our experts before the event when you register. Please note that any advance questions must be submitted no later than 16 April 2024.
Note that the seminar does not focus in detail on instructions relating to content in various sections of import declarations. For example, we will not discuss how statistical value or customs value are determined, or the meaning of various terms of delivery.
The event is organised in Finnish via Teams, and the number of participants is restricted to 950 persons. The event will not be recorded.
