Instructions related to EU Regulation on anti-dumping and countervailing duties have been published
The Regulation establishing a so-called customs tool lays down the conditions for the levying of anti-dumping and/or countervailing duty on products brought to an artificial island, a fixed or floating installation or any other structure in the continental shelf or the exclusive economic zone of a Member State. The Regulation is one component of the modernisation of the EU's trade defence instruments.
The Regulation was published in the Official Journal of the European Union on 3 July 2019, and it entered into force on 23 July 2019. The Regulation began to apply from four months from the date of publication, i.e. from 4 November 2019.
