Discharge the customs warehousing procedure via message exchange or in the Customs Clearance Service also when the warehousing is followed by a simplified ship supply delivery
A new additional information code “FIXAT – Ship supplies from customs warehouse” will be introduced on 23 May 2026 in the customs warehousing discharge notification. By using the additional information code, the discharge notification can in the future be provided via message exchange or in the Customs Clearance Service also when the procedure is discharged by means of a simplified ship supply delivery.
Previously, the warehouse keeper has sent the information to Customs by email and Customs has discharged the customs declarations.
How to submit a discharge notification
When customs warehousing is discharge with a ship supply delivery and the supplier has an authorisation for simplification of ship supplies (EIA authorisation), use the new additional information code “FIXAT – Ship supplies from customs warehouse” in the discharge notification for customs warehousing.
If you submit the discharge notification in the Customs Clearance Service after the 23 May, select “Discharge notification for customs warehousing” (FI488A). Note that you cannot use the button ‘Discharge’ in the customs warehousing declaration, if the procedure is discharged by means of a simplified ship supply delivery.
Read the instructions on the page Removal from the warehouse or storage facility.
