There has been a disruption in Customs' Suomi.fi messages – private customers have received information about documents by email instead of Suomi.fi messages

A disruption has been detected in Customs’ e-service, which has prevented Suomi.fi messages sent by Customs from being delivered to private customers after 11 December 2025. Information about a decision or other document pending in the e‑service has been sent to private customers by email instead of Suomi.fi messages.

The disruption has not affected the documents to be served; they can be found in Customs' e-services as usual.

The disruption has been resolved successfully. Customs apologises for the inconvenience caused to customers by the disruption.

Customs reminds customers that Customs never sends messages with links, customs clearance requests for consignments, or reminders of unpaid customs duties. If you receive such a message, it is a scam message.
