Read updated guidance on the Customs CBAM page

The guidance on our Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) page has been updated.

We have updated the following instructions:

• The instruction “Submitting a report – example” has been updated throughout. The changes concern especially reporting using emissions data added by the producer to the CBAM Registry via the portal for non-EU installation operators. The changes in section 8: “How to use emissions data added by the producer to the CBAM Registry via the portal for non-EU installation operators”.
• Information about the portal for non-EU installation operators has been added to the instruction “Reporting to the Commission – how?”.

Please also note that in the CBAM Transitional Registry, there is now a session timer displayed in the top left corner that shows the remaining time before automatic logout.
