In a transit declaration, the split status can only be “Total”
In a transit declaration for exiting goods, it was previously possible to use “Partial” as the split status, and for the last item “Final”, when the export goods exited in several different consignments. However, the possibility to split export goods ended on 1 June 2023, so the goods covered by one export declaration can no longer be split into several different transit declarations (transports).
If export (10) is provided as the previous procedure in a transit declaration for exiting goods, “Total” must now always be used as the split status.
If the incorrect split status “Final” is used, the certification of exit will not be generated automatically for the export declaration, and there will be a delay in receiving the decision on release with certification of exit. The exporter needs a decision on release with certification of exit as proof of VAT-exempt export, so it is important to provide the split status correctly in the transit declaration.
