Do you submit presentation notifications on arriving Union goods? Here is how you provide location details

It is not possible to provide a temporary storage facility as a location in a presentation notification on declared Union goods when the notification is submitted through the Customs Clearance Service or with message FI332.

You should indicate one of the following as the location of the goods:

• A ‒ Location designated by Customs
  • In addition, you should indicate ”V – Customs office code” as a specifier, as well as the customs office code ”FI002000 – Electronic Service Centre”.
• ”D – Other”
  • You should also provide ”Z – Street address” as a specifier, as well as the address where the goods are located at the time of presentation.

We recommend that you use the location code ”D ‒ Other”.

Presenting proof confirmed or registered in Spain

If the penultimate character of an MRN proving the Union status of goods endorsed or registered in Spain is “M”, the goods are presented in Finland in the EU’s Proof on Union Status (PoUS) system. The customs office of presentation in the presentation notification is always “FI002000 – Electronic Service Centre”. Provide the correct whereabouts of the goods as the location. For example, provide address details.
