Do you submit entry declarations to Customs – provide the declaration type for the import declaration

Publication date 13.4.2021 7.40
Press release

If you submit entry declarations to Customs, you should notify the person lodging the next customs declaration of whether you submitted an entry summary declaration (IE315) or a summary declaration for temporary storage (IE344). You can provide this information, for example, in an arrival notification you are submitting.

The type of the previous customs declaration must be indicated more precisely than before when submitting declarations to the new customs clearance system of Finnish Customs. From 19 April 2021, the exact type of the previous declaration must be indicated in the new import declarations, so that the goods can be released for free circulation.
