Declare CBAM goods correctly in the customs declaration – otherwise the processing of the customs clearance may be delayed

If you import goods subject to CBAM, remember to provide all the required condition codes and details in the import declaration.

Guidance on how to declare CBAM goods is available on Customs’ webpage Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM).  On the page, check the instructions on how to use the condition codes under “What information do I need to provide in the customs declaration?”.

Note that if you provide incorrect condition codes in the customs declaration, the processing of the customs clearance may be delayed due to additional clarifications.
