Companies should note the new Estonian goods controls at the Estonia-Russia border crossing points

The Estonian Tax and Customs Board (ETCB) informs that it will begin carrying out full customs controls of goods transports to Russia via the border crossings points at Narva, Luhamaa and Koidula. The controls begin on 8 August 2024.

Companies should be prepared for traffic congestion at the border crossing points between Estonia and Russia. It is a good idea to note these changes also when planning logistics routes.
