Changes to our service hours at Kotka, Kuusamo, Salla and Raja-Jooseppi from 27 June 2022

We will change our service hours for commercial goods traffic until further notice. The service provided at weekends at Kotka Customs will change into an appointment-based service. The services for commercial goods traffic at Kuusamo, Salla and Raja-Jooseeppi will also be provided by appointment. 

The new service hours of Kotka Customs Office from 27 June 2022:

  • Monday to Friday 8.00–16.15, and Saturday to Sunday by appointment 8.00–16.15 
    • Book weekend appointments by 14.15 the previous day by email kotka.liikkuvaryhma(at)tulli.fi or by phone tel. 0295 527 170.

The new service hours for goods traffic at Kuusamo, Raja-Jooseppi and Salla border crossing points from 27 June 2022:

  • Kuusamo: 9 April–30 June, by appointment Monday to Friday 9.00–16.00 
    • Appointment booking by email ptp.kuusamo(at)tulli.fi or phone tel. 0295 527 014
       
  • Raja-Jooseppi: by appointment Monday to Friday 8.00–18.00, Saturday to Sunday 9.00–17.00
    • Appointment booking by email ptp.rajajooseppi(at)tulli.fi or phone tel. 0295 527 026
       
  • Salla: by appointment Monday to Friday 8.00–18.00, Saturday to Sunday 9.00–17.00
    • Appointment booking by email ptp.salla(at)tulli.fi or phone tel. 0295 527 027

Please book your service appointment at Kuusamo, Raja-Jooseppi or Salla at least two hours in advance. If you are booking an appointment for 8.00 the following day, please do so by 14.15 the day before.

Shortened service hours also at Nuijamaa, Vartius, Vainikkala and Imatra

During the spring, the service hours for goods traffic have already been shortened at Nuijamaa, Vartius, Vainikkala and Imatra border crossing points.

Service hours until further notice:

  • Nuijamaa border crossing point, 7.00–21.30
  • Vartius border crossing point, 8.00–19.00
  • Vainikkala border crossing point, 8.00–18.00
  • Imatra border crossing point, 6.30–22.30.

The office contact details on the Customs website will also be updated with the shortened opening hours.

We will continue to monitor the situation at the border crossing points on the eastern border and change our service hours as needed. You can also let us know at what times you need service. Email us at yritysneuvonta(at)tulli.fi. 

There has been a decrease in commercial goods traffic especially due to the sanctions against Russia. Therefore, Customs has surveyed the needs of its customers and shortened the service hours accordingly.
