MRN Search
In MRN Search you can view the status of the customs declaration with the help of the MRN of the customs declaration. The service is intended for the various operators in the customs declaration chain to help them monitor goods.
You can make queries on the following declarations:
- export declarations where Finland is either the export country or the country of exit
- transit declarations where Finland is either the country of dispatch or the country of destination
- Declarations on import, customs warehousing and temporary storage submitted to Finnish Customs
- the following declarations submitted to EU systems on goods presented to Finnish Customs:
- entry summary declarations (security data declarations) when the goods have arrived in Finland by sea or air
- proof obtained from the EU’s Proof of Union Status system (PoUS) once Union goods have arrived in Finland
- entry summary declarations (security data declarations) submitted via the Arrival and exit declaration service or message exchange (AREX).

Missing MRN, transport document details or goods item details?
If you do not know the MRN, contact the transport company and ask for it. All declarations are given an MRN when Customs accepts them for processing.
For the search, you may also need the details of a house level transport document or a goods item provided in an entry summary declaration or a temporary storage declaration. If you do not have these details, contact the transport company and ask for them.
