Use of the My Details service for businesses expands

From 24 May 2025, the My Details service can be used by all business customers of Customs that have an EORI number.

The use of these new features requires Suomi.fi mandates when logging in, and there have been changes to the mandates.

The structure of the service has also changed. The list of company offices as well as guarantee details were previously displayed on the start page. Now both sections have been placed in separate tabs.

The e-invoicing details of offices can be updated

From now on, you can provide or change the e-invoicing address or intermediary ID for a company office or change these details in the My Details service. To do this, you will need a new Suomi.fi mandate, Updating customer data of customs activities.

The e-invoicing address details are maintained in the details of each company office.

New details of comprehensive guarantees

After the service update, you can see, under “Guarantee details”, the comprehensive guarantee accounts of your company that have the status “in use” or “closed”. You can check the reservation status of all of your company’s comprehensive guarantee accounts and the related comprehensive guarantee GRNs.

Note that, for customs clearance, in addition to a comprehensive guarantee account that is in use, you may also need a valid guarantee document and an authorisation for the procedure.

The guarantee types shown in My Details:

  • EU-wide comprehensive guarantee for import
  • National comprehensive guarantee for import
  • Comprehensive guarantee for representative (Liability of guarantor)
  • Comprehensive guarantee for transit
