The use of several service providers in message exchange will become possible for businesses

Customs will be introducing changes to the use of message exchange so that companies can start using more than one service provider for sending declaration messages. In addition, the number of service providers for each Customs’ system will not be restricted, meaning that several service providers can handle messages that are related to, for example, a company’s import declarations. The plan is to implement the changes in summer 2021. To use a new service provider, companies must undergo the regular authorisation procedure and testing.
