The EU Commission will hold an online CBAM info session – the Commission has also updated its guidance

The European Commission will hold an online CBAM information session in English on 19 June 2024. The aim of the info session is to present an overview of the current state of play of the CBAM regulation, the CBAM transitional registry, the reporting obligations and the specificities related to different CBAM sectors. The info session will include a Q&A session. The Commission will publish a recording of the info session.

Guidance for CBAM importers downloadable in several languages from the Commission’s website

You can download the available language versions of the ”Guidance document on CBAM implementation for importers of goods into the EU” from the Commission’s CBAM website, under Guidance. The guidance is aimed at importers operating in the EU.

You can download the guidance document in English or choose another language, e.g. Finnish or Swedish, from the drop-down menu “Other languages”.

The language versions of the Transitional Registry available

You can change the Transitional Registry language in the “Preferences”, via the profile icon in the upper right corner. Choose the language from the “Preferences” menu.
