The additional procedure code 999 must again be provided in the export declaration if there is no additional procedure

Currently, in new export declarations, it hasn’t been necessary to indicate separately if no additional procedure is used. This will change on 2 January 2025, when the additional procedure code will again have to be provided in all cases. From then on, the additional procedure code “999 – No additional procedure” must be provided if there is no additional procedure.

How to provide the additional procedure code

The additional procedure code is provided in the goods item details.

In the Customs Clearance Service, the additional procedure code is selected from the drop-down menu under “Additional procedure”. Message declarants provide it in the data element FI515A/GoodsShipment/GovernmentAgencyGoodsItem/GovernmentProcedure/AdditionalProcedure.
