What is this ‘Deforestation Regulation’ (EUDR)?

The Deforestation Regulation concerns companies that import or export timber, beef and other parts of beef cattle, coffee, cocoa, soy, oil palm, rubber or products manufactured from them. In the future, companies must provide additional information in their customs declaration, if they import or export products mentioned in the Deforestation Regulation. If you are not familiar with the Deforestation Regulation, you can read about it in advance on the Finnish Food Authority’s website
