Register for presentations of the new Proof of Union status system
Customs arranges presentations where we will discuss how the Union status of exiting goods is registered, and how the Union status of arriving goods is presented. In future, the Union status of goods of a value exceeding 15 000 euros must be registered with an electronic notification in the new EU Proof of Union Status system (PoUS). T2L and T2LF declarations will no longer be verified at customs offices.
Remote presentations will take place on 29 February and 7 March
Our business advisors will give a Teams presentation on how submitters of T2L and T2LF declarations will be able to request electronic registration of Union status. At the end of the presentation, we will also demonstrate how shipping companies and their representatives present MRNs for arriving Union goods when the Union status of goods is registered electronically, and goods arrive in Finland before 25 May 2024.
There will be two presentations with the same contents. The presentations will be held in Finnish, and will not be recorded. The presentations will take place on two Thursdays.
- Thursday 29 February, 12-14
- Thursday 7 March, 9-11.
Signing up
Be sure to sign up for the event no later than on 27 February by email at UCC(at)tulli.fi. When you sign up, provide the date of the presentation you wish to attend.
Persons who have signed up will receive a Teams invitation by email no later than on the day before the presentation. If a large number of people sign up, Customs may limit the number of participants.
