Monthly declarations by ship suppliers will change in spring 2026

In spring 2026, a new monthly declaration for ship suppliers in export will be taken into use. Monthly declarations can be submitted in the Customs Clearance Service or in message format (FI586A). The message scheme and data content description are available in the message implementing guidelines for export and exit. Currently, customers submit monthly declarations to Customs by email and in table format.

Message exchange customers are required to test their new messages prior to deployment in early 2026. Customs will notify customers separately when it is possible for ship suppliers to apply for testing monthly declarations.
