Press release

If you are unable to submit a report in the CBAM Transitional Registry within the prescribed time limit due to system errors, you can request an extension for submitting the report in the CBAM Transitional Registry.

The first reporting period ends on 31 January 2024 and the second one on 30 April 2024. The reports for these periods can be modified until 31 July 2024.

Please note that the Commission made a system update of the CBAM Transitional Registry on 28 January. The update has resolved known system issues, but if you still cannot submit a report within the specified time limit, you can request an extension.

Read more about reporting and requesting for an extension on our CBAM page.
