How to provide the transport document and the reference number (UCR) in a transit declaration containing safety and security data

For the time being, the transport document and the reference number (UCR) are provided in a transit declaration containing safety and security data as follows:

• Provide the transport document in the previous document details (optional).
• Provide the reference number (UCR) as a detail concerning the whole declaration at declaration header level (mandatory).
  • Enter e.g. the date as the reference number.

We will inform our customers of the new instructions when the application of the transition period rules for transit declarations ends and the final rules are introduced on 22 January 2025.
