Finnish Customs is participating in the Comprehensive Security Fair in Joensuu 4-5 October 2024

Everyday security and preparedness will be on the agenda at the Joensuu Arena in October when the national Comprehensive Security Fair brings together the citizens and representatives of different authorities, business and organisations around the theme.

Customs is at the fair as one of the guardians of Finland’s overall security. At the fair you can see, experience and realise what makes up the safety of our daily lives. Preparedness and cooperation is increasingly important in our time. At the fair, there is something to discover and do for all ages.

At Customs’ stands at the fair, you can get to know our extensive role as a protector of society and as a facilitator of smooth goods flows across the border. You get to test your skills in a quiz – do you know the secrets of online ordering and declaring; are the import restrictions under control? In the equipment display you can see our monitoring equipment and, of course, our most skilled scent workers the customs dogs, will also be at the fair.

The Comprehensive Security Fair will be held on 4-5 October 2024 in the Joensuu Arena (Mehtimäenaukio 2). The Arena will be open 9.00-17.00 on both days of the event. The event can be accessed freely.
