Do you submit entry summary declarations (ENSs)? Attend an EU-organised presentation of requests for information on 18 February
On Wednesday 18 February 2026 at 14.00–16.00, the EU Commission continues its “ICS2 technical operational call” meetings for ENS filers. The main topic of the February meeting is how ENS filers should reply to requests for information concerning ENS (ICS2). Other ENS-related questions will also be addressed during the meeting.
The Commission has found that the ENS filers do not always recognise the requests sent to them that they should reply to. Requests that require a reply are:
- RfI, Request for Information
- RfS, Request for Screening (air cargo and postal consignments).
Monthly meetings held as webinars
The Commission’s monthly “ICS2 technical operational call” webinars are all open to customers that submit ENSs to ICS2 as well as to their IT service providers or those intending to become such. So-called online declarants, that is, customers using the EU’s ICS2 Declaration Service for Safety and Security Data (STI-STP), can also attend these meetings.
Attendance does not require registration. Join the 18 February 2026 webinar here (Webex).
Check the links to all meetings on the “Agenda” tab on the “EU Advance Cargo Information System (ICS2)” page on the CIRCABC website. The link will be published around one month prior to the meeting under the relevant date in the calendar.
You can ask for advice concerning special situations
You can find information on the ENS in the instructions published by the Commission, the most important of which are in the folder “ICS2 Common Operational Guidance” on the CIRCAC website. Finnish Customs also provides guidance on questions related to ENS.
If you cannot get an answer to your question from Finnish Customs or the CIRCABC website, the Commission’s monthly meetings provide an opportunity to request answers to questions concerning technical and operational aspects of submitting safety and security data on entry. Email your question(s) in English to TAXUD-ICS2-PROJECT-CM@ec.europa.eu with the following subject line: “Questions for the ICS2 technical-operational call”.
