Press release

The European Commission is organising a series of online webinars on CBAM reporting in the Transitional Registry, covering specifics of each sector. Recordings will be published of all webinars.

The schedule for the webinars is available on the CBAM information page Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (europa.eu). Recordings of earlier webinars are also available on this website.

The webinars cover cement, aluminium, fertilisers, electricity, hydrogen, iron and steel.  Check the schedule here.

You can find additional information on the Regulation on the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism on the Customs website.

The Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) is a new instrument of the EU for preventing carbon leakage, that is, release of emissions to regions outside the EU. For importers, this means new obligations.
