The customs clearance decisions show the amounts of tax on different goods items rounded off to two decimal places. Therefore, the total amount of taxes on the goods items may differ from the final amount of taxes.
For the calculation, the customs clearance system uses exact unrounded amounts when calculating the amount of taxes on the goods items in the field ‘Total calculated taxes and charges’ (Verot ja maksut yhteensä). The amount shown in the customs clearance decision is therefore correct, even if it differs somewhat from the aggregate amount of taxes on different goods items.
