Switzerland stops using transit accompanying documents on 1 June 2023

In accordance with new customs legislation, print-outs of transit accompanying documents are no longer required as of 1 June 2023. In Finland, transit accompanying documents are printed out and attached to transports. From now on, transits arriving in Finland may have documents printed out in different formats containing transit MRNs. 

Transit countries can give up using print-outs according to their own schedules. The Swiss authorities have said that they will stop using transit accompanying documents as of 1 June 2023. In print-outs from Switzerland that replace transit accompanying documents, the text fields C (customs office of departure) and D (control by customs office of departure) will be empty.
