Publication date 18.12.2023 12.38
Press release

In January, we are holding several webinars on CBAM reporting.

The topic of the first webinar will be how to log in to the CBAM Transitional Registry and how to submit a report using default values. If you want to try logging in as a company representative, make sure that you have a valid EORI number and the Suomi.fi mandate for CBAM reporting.

In the sector-specific webinars, our experts will tell you about the special characteristics of emissions calculation and reporting for each sector. These webinars cover aluminium, iron and steel, fertilisers and cement.

You can send questions to our experts before each webinar. Please note the time limits below.

The webinars will be held in Finnish with a limited number of participants. Recordings of the webinars will be published later.

Links to the recordings of our earlier webinars are available on our Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism web page.

More information about the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism on the Customs website

The Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) is a new EU instrument for preventing carbon leakage, that is, release of emissions to non-EU countries. For importers, this brings new obligations.
