Safety and security data no longer required for goods transited to Norway or Switzerland

On 16 October 2024, we informed customers that, exceptionally, safety and security data must also be provided in T2 and T2F transit declarations when the previous document is an export declaration and the goods are transported to or through Norway or Switzerland. There is no longer need to follow this instruction, which means that safety and security data don’t need to be provided in such declarations.

The exceptional procedure was due to an error in Customs’ system. The error has now been resolved, so declarations are submitted as before.
