English webinar for companies starting to import goods from outside the EU

On Wednesday 18 September 2024 at 9.30‒12.00, we are organising a webinar in English. The event is aimed at companies that are planning to import goods from outside the EU.

In the webinar, we will discuss the following basic issues in relation to the import of goods from outside the EU:

the customs and fiscal territory of the European Union (EU)
commodity codes
taxation
registering the EORI number
fi identification
import restrictions
inspections for consumer protection
import declaration in the Customs Clearance Service

Do you have questions about importation or about using the Customs Clearance Service? You can send questions to our experts before the event when you register. Please note that any advance questions must be submitted no later than 2 September 2024.

Note also that the event is only a general presentation of imports. It will not be possible to present all the relevant details within the allotted time.

The event is organised in English via Teams, and the number of participants is restricted to 950 persons. The event will not be recorded.
