An import customs declaration cannot be pre-lodged if the previous document is a transit declaration

An error has been detected in Customs’ system and it prevents customs declarations for import from being submitted in advance if the previous document is a transit declaration (e.g. N821). If the import is preceded by transit, you should submit the import declaration as an A declaration. We will publish a new notice when we have resolved the error.
