Customs’ new opening hours at Vartius from 12 June 2023

The opening hours of Vartius border crossing point will change on 12 June 2023. The customs office is open Mon‒Thurs 9.00‒17.00 Finnish time, and Fri‒Sun 9.00‒19.00 Finnish time.
There has been a decrease in traffic across the eastern border especially due to the sanctions against Russia. Customs will shorten the service hours according to the changed needs. We will continue to monitor the needs of our customers regarding service hours at the border crossing points on the eastern border.
