Foreign companies and individuals will be given time until 31 March to change over from Katso to Suomi.fi

Customs’ customers who still use Katso IDs and roles will be given time until 31 March 2021 to change over to the Suomi.fi service maintained by the Digital and Population Data Services Agency. The extended time limit is intended for customers who cannot independently begin using Suomi.fi identification and authorisations. Of Customs’ customers, these are mainly foreign companies and individuals.

With the extended time limit, Finnish Customs wants to safeguard the transition of those who still haven’t begun using the Suomi.fi service, so that the smoothness of the companies’ foreign trade isn’t placed in jeopardy.
