New Trader Portal for eAEO introduced in all EU countries on 1 October 2019

As of 1 October 2019, applications for AEO status will have to be made electronically through the EU Member States’ Trader Portal for eAEO. The EU Trader Portal for eAEO will be deployed in two phases.

In phase 1, applications for new AEO authorisations can no longer be submitted using the paper form (689e) after 30 September 2019, after which the applications are to be made in the Trader Portal for eAEO. Amendments to existing AEO authorisations can be applied for using the paper form (689e) until 15 December.

In phase 2, which begins on 15 December 2019, also amendment applications are to be made in the Trader Portal for eAEO. After this, the paper forms can be used as fallback procedure.

In order to log in to the Trader Portal for eAEO, Suomi.fi identification and/or authorisation is required. More information about identification
